About Joyce Henderson

My writing career began as a sophomore in high school, with the sale of my first article to Woman's Day magazine. I now have published five non-fiction books, the last three co-written with one of my daughters.

Current projects include: a how-to book for leaders of Short-Term Mission teams, and a book of Advent traditions and activities.

My five children have all grown up and left home, married, graduated from college and all that good stuff grown-up kids do. I love being a Grandma to 9 children under the age of 7. My household now includes two cats and my husband, the love of my life. I also work as a home care nurse, in my spare time.
